Who we are
This privacy policy explains how Aspen Cleaners ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit this website, message or call us, book a pickup, visit our shop or use any of our garment-care services.
Aspen Cleaners is a garment-care business located at GF, Unit No. 001, Navratna Business Park, Block C, behind White Crow, Sindhubhavan Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380054, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), Aspen Cleaners is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.
By using this website or our services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or share personal data with us.

What we collect
Information you give us
When you book a pickup, ask a question or hand over clothes, you may share:
- your name and mobile number (including the number you use on WhatsApp);
- your pickup and delivery address, area, landmark and building access details;
- details of the garments and items you send, such as type, fabric, colour, stains, damage, special instructions and dates you need them back by;
- photographs you send us of garments, stains or damage;
- the contents of your messages, call notes and any feedback or complaints;
- payment details needed to settle your bill, such as the payment method and transaction reference (we do not ask for or store card numbers or UPI PINs).
Information collected when you use the website
This website does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers or marketing cookies, and it has no account or login.
The company that hosts the website may automatically record standard technical information in its server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the date and time of the visit. This is used only to run, secure and fix the website.
The message helper behind the WhatsApp button works entirely inside your own browser. Nothing you type or select there is sent to us or stored by us. It only reaches us if you press "Send on WhatsApp" and then send the message from your WhatsApp app.
How we use it
We use personal data only for these purposes:
- to schedule, carry out and confirm pickups, deliveries and drop-offs at the shop;
- to identify your garments, record their condition and give the right care to each item;
- to contact you about your order, including questions about stains, damage, delays or extra care that needs your approval;
- to prepare bills, receive payments and keep accounting and tax records;
- to answer questions, handle complaints and settle claims;
- to keep our premises, staff, vehicles and your garments safe and to prevent fraud or misuse;
- to meet our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We will only send you offers or updates if you have agreed to receive them, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
Why we are allowed to use it
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you contact us, book a service or hand over garments, and for the legitimate uses allowed under Section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as providing a service you have asked for, meeting legal obligations, and responding to emergencies.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it, and we may not be able to continue a service that depends on that data (for example, we cannot deliver without an address).
Data stored outside India
Some services we use, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and our website host, may store or process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, it is done in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Order, billing and payment records are kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws. Photographs and notes about garment condition are kept while the order is open and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case a question or claim is raised.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. Messages on WhatsApp also remain in your own app, which we do not control.
How we protect it
We take reasonable security measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure, including limiting access to staff who need it and using secure, password-protected devices and accounts.
No method of sending or storing information over the internet or by phone is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected people and the Data Protection Board of India where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you have the right to:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase data we no longer need, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- have a grievance about our handling of your data addressed by us;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.
To use any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp, call +91 98249 22655, or write to us at the address below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, as required by the DPDP Act.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, the website or the law change. The new version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Please check it from time to time; continued use of the website or our services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
